Intro Blog





Hey guys! Welcome blog world it’s Arianna and today I’ll be welcoming you to my blog by telling you a little about myself. I was born on the 14th of September in 2007. I am an only child to my mother,however, on my fathers side, I am the third out of four children. I have two brothers who live in a different country and a sister who lives in Florida with me. I am a second generation Jamaican. My mother and father is from a parish called Spanish Town. 


I am currently a sophomore (second year) in Fort Lauderdale High School. I am apart of a rigorous magnet program called the Cambridge Program. The Cambridge courses I am currently taking include AICE Thinking Skills, AICE Media Studies, AICE Environmental Management, and AICE English Language. The year has just started so I don’t really know much about the courses,however, my two favorite courses so far are AICE Environmental Management and AICE Media Studies. I like AICE Environmental because science is my favorite subject. I’m intrigued by AICE Media Studies because despite living in the age of technology I’m not well versed in it. 


I’m also a teacher at Sistrunk Early Learning Center. I work after school for 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. People normally dread going to their job at the end of the day, but I look forward to working at the end of the school day. My favorite part of my job is building a bond with each and every student. I also love observing the way they admire and respect me. 


I go to school from 7:40 am to 2:40 pm. After that I go to my job for 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Seeing that my schedule is full for majority of the day five days a week, I don’t have very much free time. However, when I do have free time I have a few hobbies that help me relax and unwind after my busy week. The first thing I enjoy doing is binge watching Netflix. Some of the shows I enjoy watching is Queen of The South, Big Mouth, How to Get Away With Murder, and Top Boy. Another thing I enjoy doing is art, one of the things I find most relaxing is coloring and painting. 


Now you’ve got some insight on who I am. I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse of the inner working of my life. It’s only the third week of school so there’ll be plenty of blogs to come, so goodbye until next time blog world !

Our pitch

 Pitch A: Relationship full of secrets when the wife gets a strange secret.  Pitch B:2 archeologists go to an ancient site for observation, however things take a turn.  Discuss pitch A: We found this interesting as it instantly hit with an idea. The idea with that was a serial killer hiding in plain sight and his wife who's a nurse with a new influx of patients sharing strange symptoms. However this plot held limited creative freedom. Additionally it didn't fit with all of our groups ideas, not everyone could get what they wanted in a way that fit for everyone. While it was a fun and creative topic it just wasn't as strong as it could be. Discuss pitch B:This idea had such a vivid movie flow, immediately we were all bouncing ideas and ended up coming up with a full movie plot. Dynamic lighting creates a dramatic atmosphere with silhouette lighting and strong spotlights. Acting involves intense physical performances and choreographed fight scenes. Weapons, vehicles, and gadgets are examples of props, such as guns, helicopters, cars, masks, cellphones, computers, and explosives.
